The Shaggy rug is a long-pile carpet made of 100% wool for a soft and snug expression. Brought to us by the brand Layered, this quality rug was crafted using the same 2000 year old techniques used by the Greeks. It's a markedly different technique compared to how most rugs are made — the wool is set in containers that are placed under the wild running streams of natural waterfalls to create a vibrant and organic aesthetic in each piece. Every rug is highly distinct because they are individually woven from the specialized wool: this process renders each rug completely unique, which sometimes means slight variations when it comes to size and colour.
